Xen Product Manager [Deleted]

Can we get MaxMind integration at some point? A lot of chargebacks are happening, so hopefully MM can help with fraud prevention. It's something I plan on doing for our installation personally, but I'm sure others will appreciate it too. Though, I guess you're getting pretty busy nowadays haha.

This is possibly a unique situation but we had a user yesterday purchase a style + an add-on and immediately do a charge-back. The user then came back an hour later and bought another 2 plugins on the same account after the first charge-back was filed. I wasn't on to catch it in time but possibly sticking a user into the moderation q or something automatically to make it so once a charge-back is filed they are not allowed to use the store/site further.

Granted... I know a new account could bypass this method but it's something that could be useful.
Could additionally link PayPals to accounts. Once a PayPal account has been used once by a user, it cannot be used by a different user.

Is there a way to make a product not available for sale, without removing the product from the list, i.e. temporarily not purchasable?

First time I've been told it's expensive. That said, most people who have purchased it have likely made their money back on it very quickly as they are selling their products through it. That doesn't include the cost savings associated with having such a system that makes managing payments and orders mostly automatic.

So, ultimately, it's good value for money. If you disagree, you don't have to buy it :)

Because, £ 5 times more expensive our money. ( you can think of look like had received a product 250 sterlin)

Yes, you are right. I told only my opinion.

I want to use this plugin to sell class notes.

Is that all members can sell their own books? Payment will be made to members' accounts.

For example, I bought the book today. 1 month after that I could download books from my membership?

Hi Chris,

Any chance there is a way to differentiate between orders that have been given for free (via the 'Convert cart to order' feature) and orders that were actually purchased?

I should probably stop being a lazy sod and get this installed on my support site :)

Would make sense for managing the FT licenses rather than doing it all manually.

It's really nice to be able to sit back and relax while XPM does all the leg work.

I probably ought to start prioritising a feature set for XPM 1.3.

Now's the time to start posting suggestions and voting existing ones (at XenResources).

Someone outright asked me earlier if I had any Black Friday deals; usually I don't. But in a moment of weakness, I am actually going to be giving 10% off anything at https://xenresources.com until the end of the year.

This means you can get Xen Product Manager for as little as £45 until December 31st.

Any chance of an "Add new item" button under "Change Log Items"? Right now you have to press enter for another line to appear which causes an error to pop up if you haven't selected the file yet as that's also trying to submit the form

The items are added automatically as you type...

It wasn't doing that, it didn't add a new item until I pressed enter. Seems to be behaving normally now. I'll try to keep track of how to replicate it if I make that happen again

Figured out what it was, I didn't type into the field, I pasted text into it. No new row is added if you paste. Glad I'm not losing my mind :)
