Xen Notices [Deleted]

Hi Chris, is it possible to add an option whre I can coose the maximum of days a user is registrated and not only "since x days"? I like to target 0-post-users which are new and maybe don't know how to post. But now I have to show the notification to all 0-posters ...

It uses the standard XF user criteria so that would require an add on or custom development which adds that criteria to XF and it would then additionally be available to use for Notifications.

Hey Chris, we're getting reports at TAZ of notifications showing for members with no avatars and not being dismissable. Problem is, we have no notifications set up! Have disabled the system for the moment. Any ideas? :)

Sounds like the Notification cache didn't update.

Either enable/disable a notification, or create and delete a notification and that should trigger the cache to rebuild.

Hi, sorry but can I set this up to just show to new members. So I want them to say hello in the introductions section, so first time the user logs in, they get a pop up saying Hi please say hello to everyone in the introductions section. Then keep showing them that till they have written 1 post someone, doesn't have to be in the introduction section.

Many thanks

Yes @mugtree that is all possible with the XenForo criteria, which is therefore available in this add on. You can display a notification and then set the criteria to show to logged in users, and then adjust the post criteria user has posted 0 messages. Chris would be able to confirm. :)

Hey @Chris D, any way we can display a notification only in closed threads within a particular group of nodes?

I see the four options below the node list on the Page Criteria tab, but don't know if it's possible to use them to do this.

That isn't an existing XF criteria so it would require an add-on or custom development to do that. As it uses the default XF criteria, if an add-on has added this criteria to XF already, then it would automatically be available to Notifications. I don't know if an add-on already exists, but there are a few in the RM that add some additional criteria.

Looking at your site, I can see the JS in the HTML source, so that all appears to be working.

However, you have two styles. It doesn't work on the default style, but it does work on your other style. The default style has some sort of JS error which is likely preventing Notifications from loading. I think the JS error is being caused by some Audentio script. Once you have that fixed, Notifications should work fine.

Chris, I have a branding free license. When I download the latest version using the link in one of my older emails I get the non-branding free version. Is there an updated link to use (if so I'll forward my email via PM)?
