Xen Notices [Deleted]

I use Transmit for Mac. By default, it overwrites. I'm sure it has to have a merge option but I haven't found it yet.

I think I was a little fast crying out that it worked. The preview function worked and I could clearly see the notification showing up. But when I enter the forum the notification is no where to be found despite I have set the user groups (all at the moment) for which it should be visible to.

Chris, I'm using FileZilla on OS X.

This time on the main forum, can you do a screenshot of the developer console?

What have you set for the user criteria?

What have you set for the page criteria?

I think the criteria is clashing.

You'd probably experience the same issue with a normal XenForo notice with that criteria.

It looks like you want to target it to all users, so just untick all of the user boxes.

Remember this: If no criteria is specified then it will show to every user on every page.

Yes, you can. But there's a limitation that I need to resolve.

Firefox doesn't support MP3 files so actually the best option right now is to convert sound files to OGG format. They are supported by most browsers.

Next version should have two boxes for you to enter sound files into. The idea then is the browser will choose its preferred sound file and play it.

That's awesome! I was thinking about just autoplaying a YouTube vid through html.

You can already do that, just by embedding it inside the notification. That will load the entire thing (player and all), but you can size it if I am not mistaken.

Is there anything controlled from the ACP or is it all in the front-end now? (Looks like it's changed from your intro videos).

Sorry to be a pain right off but what's the easiest way to remove the notification center tab?

In our style is makes the navbar too wide and messes things up and I'd rather have it along the mod bar at the top if that's possible.

Most/if not all of the admin settings are done through the admincp. Styling, setting criteria etc

Are you sure? Because if so I've done something wrong...

It looks to me like they're all in the Notification Center in the front-end now.
