Xen Notices [Deleted]

I have bought and installed this but the Notifications option in ACP does not show up No errors during install - uploaded the contents of the upload folder to root and installed through the provided XML fine... nothing...

Very well done Chris, thanks for providing the update.

Front end Notification Center is good addition to the add-on, however I'd suggest you to add a few options to control the "Notification Center" tab. In my case I have already full my Navigation area and one more Tab breaks the Navigation completely. So if I enable user permissions the Tab appeared and there's no option to disable the Tab. Instead I'd like to move the "Notification Center" link in the Moderation bar area.

Yes, this is most likely the answer.

You need to go to Admin CP > Users > Administrators > [Your Account] > Check: Manage notifications

Well I had not actually. However I have checked them now to include the permissions and the Notifications options still does not appear under options... strange because the general options are there for where to place it... I am new to Xenforo and after buying this spotted normal notices... what's different about the canned Notices capability?

Check out my instructions above. User Permissions and Admin Permissions are slightly different things. You need to edit each Administrator with the ability to Manage Notifications.

I signed in with the super admin account and was able to see everything. I was using the normal admin account before.

One further question on this - my guest notification only pops up for guests (after I set the conditions) but is seen by all in the notification center... is that how it should work?

Yes. The notification Center is a place to create, edit and delete notifications.

You should only give access to the Notification Centre to user groups you trust.

OK I get it now - Notification Centre should only really be seen by a few... it's the actual notifications that are seen by the intended targets... its late and I am being slow but think I have finally got the hang of it!
