It might come sooner than you'd think. It probably won't be 2.0. But very soon after.

What I could do with is a vB4 license to play around with. I bet you have spares from the sites you've transferred over to XF?

I have plenty. Just tell me where you want the files.

Thanks. I'll probably mostly be playing with this when my style is done. For now I just wanted to lock in at a lesser expense. My only question (which doesn't really warrant a new thread) is that when I downloaded the product it said I didn't have an associated domain. Couldn't find where to put it but in case you need to know the domain is EQAddiction.com.
Hi Chris, still not really sure how to associate a domain with the add-on but as an update, the domain changed to EQArena.com instead. Thanks.

PS- Just found an issue. When in the Media nav menu, standard XenForo notices appear to be cut off.

You don't associate the domain. The products add on I use is broken and has missing things do don't worry about it.

Thanks for the issue you reported.

So, yes, SoundCloud:

There's a BB Code Media Site by @EQnoble that you can install. And of course you can create your own media sites in some cases. If you can create it, or install it, you can add it to the gallery.

The focus is on videos, but in reality it could be anything. Even spreadsheets and documents, or Google maps. Anything really.

We're getting close, people :)

Xen Media Gallery 2.0 RC 1 is now installed at http://xenmediagallery.com.

I'm still finishing off bits and pieces, including a Xen Medio Pro importer, but for the most part the remaining tasks are just polish so we're now on the journey to an imminent release.

Thank you so much for everyone who has helped test so far. Please keep up the great work.

No change log for this particular update. The fixed bugs and resolved suggestions forum should indicate what has changed.

Thank you again,

Chris

In light of the last known bugs being resolved, I have just installed Xen Media Gallery 2.0 Release Candidate 2 at http://xenmediagallery.com.
If you have previously reported any bugs, please give things another try and let me know how you get on.

Xen Media Gallery 2.0 Release Candidate 3 has been installed http://xenmediagallery.com.

In what I hope to be the last Release Candidate before the final release (later this week), there is an important new feature: album comments.

It's not usually advised to add a new feature so late on in the testing process, but this particular feature is useful to ensure that no data is lost when importing from other software that may have a similar feature.

Besides, the feature was already noted as a TODO anyway, so all things considered, it jumped up the queue.

What it does mean, however, is there may be some very last minute bugs with this system. Feel free to try and break it.

I have already created some comments here:

http://xenmediagallery.com/media/albums/lets-all-comment-on-my-album.58/

And you may feel free to do so on your own albums too :)

Album comments should appear in the comments sidebar block alongside normal media comments.

A small number of bugs were identified in the newest feature (album comments) earlier and some other miscellaneous issues were brought up.

These have been fixed and Xen Media Gallery.com is now running Release Candidate 4.
