Would be nice to see a config option for "new_registrations_currently_not_being_accepted", we don't want to flat out deny such registrations.

This is a default Xenforo phrase. You always can change the text of it.

But we will add a custom phrase for it in the next version.
 
Not the phrase, I mean disabling the "no create accounts if alt" feature.

There already is a setting "Deny Registration of Multiple Accounts?" which handles this. It is even disabled by default.

Just uncheck it and the registration will be allowed. Instead you will get a notification, if you have enabled notifications.

The multiple account will be detected at registration (which will follow your usual registration policies), reliably recorded by this add-on and can be seen as a multiple account by all your staff with such permissions.

I've asked twice now on your support site via ticket to have my account upgraded for my prior purchases from you, Jan this year and today, and nothing has changed. I purchased two of your products before you implemented your site product system, you asked people to contact you to update their account info... and you haven't.

I have your products without copyright already, yet because you won't update my account info on your site I cannot upgrade to the latest version. I'm not buying your product twice. This is ridiculous for the amount of time this has taken... 10 months now and zero action on your behalf.

1) You have asked for help and opened a ticket just some hours ago at our web site and got a response shortly thereafter.
2) There are processes in place to transfer old FetchApp licenses to our new web site. There is an information page about it at our web site. The process is started with a ticket to us. You did this and the process has been started promptly.
3) Of course you do not have to buy the license again. Also not the Branding-Free extension.
4) You still are able to download the add-on versions released during your support period at FetchApp! You need to extend your license to be able to upgrade. This can be done at our new web site after your license has been transfered, which usually takes no longer than one day.
5) You never asked before to get a license transferred. I do not know why you accuse us to need 10 month for help?
6) You can see all your tickets at https://wmtech.net/support-tickets/
7) Your license transfer is handled just now (less than 6 hours after your initial request and less than 1 hour after we got the necessary information from you). If we can find it at FetchApp, you will see them in your account shortly.

I really have no clue about why you feel a need to bash us here...

Yes, you answered the second one, yesterday. Absolutely. You didn't the first one, in January, when you asked license holders to do so. Evidenced below:

Not trying to bash you, just trying to get your attention, as this matter has taken 10 months.

I do thank you for taking the time to answer the second attempt for this, yesterday, after having posted here. Sorry, but the evidence is clear that my assertions made here are 100% factual. I got a little annoyed, to be honest, that it was dismissed and closed without a response from you on your own ticket system.

Thank you for giving us the ticket number, we indeed found the ticket. You opened it back in January (2 days after we opened our web site) and it went completely unnoticed back then. I cannot find out, if it has been closed immediately after opening (and if, by whom), as that would explain why nobody worked on it. I can only see that it has the current status "closed" and nobody ever worked on it. A reason for this may also be that our internal processes (and the ticket system itself) were not as stable as today, 2 days after opening the new web site.

This should not have happend and I can only apologize. But there was no need to wait for 10 months before opening another ticket. In fact, if you would have written another post in your original ticket in January it would have poped up again and someone would have taken care of it. You also should have got a email message about the closing of your ticket and you did not complain about it.

The new ticket you opened yesterday was worked on within hours (before your post here even got to our attention) and has been finished successfully in less than one day after opening it (like hundreds of other tickets before, asking for a license transfer). So there really was no reason to "get our attention" here. But I at least understand your move now: Better to shout early, before being unheard. ;)

If a user registers a multiple account then is visible in the new users moderation?
If not then please consider this because its important that staff will recognize a multiple account in the approval queue. Optimally there would be a link to the report.

This is available since the first version of our add-on.

All multiple accounts of a user can be seen by staff when looking at the account information. No matter if this user account is in moderated state or not. A link to the report is not necessary as all available information is already presented in the account info. We have customers who do not even activate any notifications or reports. If they are interested in the latest detections, they just go to the detection log in ACP.

My suggestion is to have the information available at the moderation queue at this new user moderation page: admin.php?users/moderated
Not the account info page: admin.php?users/username/edit
From the new users moderation page, staff will rarely will look at the account info page. We have thousands of new registration in the moderation queue. If staff needs to review the account info page for every user then it becomes unmanageable. All necessary details need to be right there on the page. Else the user will be approved without noticing its a duplicate.

This would be on custom request only.

We also do manual moderation with some sites, but always check the user data before confirming the registration. If we just would click "Accept" without checking the actual user info, the moderation of new registrations would make no sense for us.

We just bring all relevant information to the moderation of new registration. This works much faster. We have some innovative functions coded in our vbulletin version of this page to quickly highlight registrations from suspect email domains, block blacklisted email domains, duplicate accounts, and allow new users to fix up their account before they are approved. (deffer registration) We have been working with this for many years at 50k registrations attempts per year. After analysis, we found that the vast majority of problematic registrations can be identified with an algorithm and the rest can be automatically approved. I intend to have this new user moderation functionality developed for XenForo once a suitable developer has been found.
But I digress.

This is correct. We may think about adding a note about a multiple registration at that page also.

Regarding your idea: This is also correct. My idea: You just need to auto-check the email address of a new registration with Facebook. If it is not known, the new registration is most likely not a human person. :D

That depends on the kind of board. People tend to use alternative email addresses for sites with privacy sensitive topics. But its indeed a good parameter.

what is gona happen after 6 month?
is it going to stop to work?

2. my friend installed this addon from nulled website to try, but addon does not work at all. After file health chek, he got lots of massages like "file in folder library-xxx does not looks like it expected".
Is this problemm due to unofficial version?
I would like to buy this addon, but would like to be sure, that it will work properly on my site with all my installed add-ons.
Is there way to try this addon on my site?
Is there refund option incase if it does not work with all my addons?

if you would have posted your questions into the "Pre Sales" forum or would have openend a ticket at our site, you would have got a response within hours. Since you posted it into the "Off Topic" forum, we have not got a notification about it. In addition, we are only working for urgencies at weekends and do not consider a pre sales question as urgent. But we do consider a report of nulled software as urgent. Please report the forum url of your "friend" to piracy (at) wmtech (dot) net. Thanks you.

Regarding your questions:
Add-Ons downloaded from nulled sites are very dangerous and have a great possibilty of including malicious code. You should never download or install them. You also should not expect them to work. The errors with the file health check you got show clearly that each single file has been tampered with and do not include our original code.

In addition, we do not sell any licenses to people using nulled software, as this is against our license regulations.

After 6 months the software will continue to work, but you will loose the ability to download newer versions. You have to extend your license to get a new version of the add-on.

The add-on works with all XenForo versions starting with 1.3 up to the most recent version, as it is stated clearly in it's description. We also do not know of any add-ons to not work with it and will help all customers who may experience such a situation.

Sorry, we do not provide a free trial and also no return rights after you have downloaded the add-on.

I am keen on this add-on @wmtech what are the detection rates for mobile users?
Will it work for mobile users as well as it does for PC users?
