Really depends on what the focus will be next. I'm dying to get a good CMS up and running. I'll more than likely hold off until I know what the direction is there.

I will purchase a license as soon as I can come up with some funds. I need to pay off the rent and the electric bill will be here soon. I will probably split my current forum and develope a new forum on this platform for the same niche but a little twist on the site. I will need a convertor. I am not concerned so much with the add ons. I want to see if the new site takes off first prior to addind alot of features anyway.

Yes, without a doubt. Sorta contemplating going over while XF is still in beta ... but gonna step back and take a reality check first.
