Someone told me that PHP runs on dotnet core can have much better efficiency in code execution.
Plus, it is less likely to meet PHP grammar deprecation hassles with dotnet core.
Therefore, I am wonder whether XenForo supports or will be officially tested with dotnet-core + MySQL / MariaDB.

The latest dotnet core (available on macOS, Windows, and Linux) accepts PHP as one of its development language.
Also, it runs on macOS and Linux (both development and running).
Even if it is running through dotnet core, it is still PHP.
