I noticed a XenForo license is now $ 160.

It used to be $ 140.

What's with the price increase?

well, I think that cool but how about if your upgrading? think for me, to be honest, I will not upgrade this year, maybe after two years that when I will upgrade because I think they would at least reduce that to people who are renewing their license.

but XF is great and great dev behind it is great too. just that Facebook has made it had for newbae to succeed with forums like before and if you check only forums that started 4 years ago are at least active.

Surely though paying for upgrading not only allows you access to upgrades and support, but also helps finance improvements, new releases and maintains the continued success of the provider without which there would be no XF?

There is also the opportunity now and again to buy second-user licenses at a discount from people who are closing their forums or selling unused additional licenses, so you can get it legitimately for less then the full new price (the only caveat is that you cannot re-sell a second-user license).

hahaha well, I think I will do the same when i make my first penny from the forum ... but honestly, the price is fair because the support and the dev team really do the best
