Could someone please help me understand what is the point of this newer style code we struggle with?
It seems to create endless struggles and huge complications.
When it works well it is fine of course.
When it's difficult to get right when using it to control elements on multiple pages, that can be worth it.
But when designing a specialist page which IS NOT going to be generated across multiple versions (like forums, conversations) I don't understand the point of all the complication.
In a page which is going to appear only once, why not just code it all on the page directly?
It seems to me that css has become a bad master instead of a good servant.
