XF 2.0 What is the best way to protect the forum from spam?

Besides the preset configurarion of the Xenforo, What is recomended to do in order to prevent spam registrations an spam posting?

Is the preset configurarion good enough, or should I take further measurements?

Wish we had an option to have members register with their gov Name kinda like how Facebook does it. I personally check every member who registers, and manually approve every account. I hope when i get to X2, I find an add-on that has excellent protection etc. What about an Invite only Board?

If you run NGINX, https://github.com/mitchellkrogza/nginx-ultimate-bad-bot-blocker is a pretty good solution at the server level. I see very little spam on any of my sites I host on my own servers. You obviously customise them to your likely via includes.

The Question & Answer captcha works very well if your forum has a specific subject.
