What happened to the first post circle?

A while back, the circle I could click to go to the first new post disappeared. Now I go to the first post, not the first new post all of the time. It's on this site.

Is it a setting? I haven't changed anything.

The icon was removed, but threads with unread posts are still denoted with a bold title. Clicking the title should still take you to the first unread post.

Doesn't seem to work that way for me, I always seem to go to the first post. I liked the circle, I don't always want to go to the first new post, sometimes I like to read from the beginning again.
Oh well.

The circle did take you to the first new post though, I thought? I could be misremembering though. In any case, you can click the thread start date beneath the title to go to the very first post.

Not sure what version you are on, maybe XF 2.0? The circle is still there for new posts in the latest version of XenForo 1.5.17.

The circle does take you to the first unread post.
The bold thread title takes you to the first unread post.
The date under the thread title takes you to the first post in the thread.
The date in the last message column takes you to the last post in the thread.
