I saw ZZ Top play live in the early 70's not really knowing anything about them. They were great and after the gig I rushed out and bought 'Tres Hombres' just so that I could learn the riff to 'La Grange'.

R.I.P. Dusty Hill. A sad loss but I'm sure his legacy will live on for many years to come.

I didn't encounter ZZ Top until their run on the charts and MTV in the eighties when I was in high school and university. So songs like Sharp Dressed Man and Gimme All Your Lovin'. I did eventually discover their earlier work, though. RIP, Dusty.
