XF 1.5 Weird issue with image proxy on https website

So I switched to https, and now I noticed that images from the attachments folder are not being served properly within posts. However if you directly go to the url, they do show up. How does this happen?

That will be the redirection limit in 1.5.10. This is resolved in 1.5.11.

Great to hear! Thanks. Will the update fix the images that are currently broken on their own when there's a new request, or do I need to do something else?

Not necessarily. There are a lot of variables as failed images are only re-requested so many times. You can explicitly refetch them via the control panel (clicking on a record for more info should force a refresh).

I tested this, but it didn't seem to work. I also still have similar issues with certain images, most notably images served from the media gallery? Also adding on top of the previous issue, now there are images that work, and images that don't work from the attachments folder.

If you have problems with a particular URL, it's worth using the test image proxy option to see what's being returned.

For example, testing a few of those XFMG URLs, the images aren't visible to guests, so the proxy won't be able to retrieve it.
