XF 1.4 Warning points not adding up

This has happened several times that I can remember

Did you import this user from another system? We haven't had any reports of warning point counts being incorrect within XF itself, though we have seen cases where the imported value wasn't correct.

Unfortunately, the key is identifying why the total is incorrect, which really means noticing it when it happens to try to figure out the steps that were taken. It's hard to know if the user's points total has been incorrect for months.
