XF 1.5 Want to uninstall addon

Dear friends,

This is the first time I am going to uninstall any addon, I wonder if I uninstall any addon from my ACP then that action will also remove the addon files from my server or I have to manually also remove addon files from my server? Appreciate if you can give me the safe method to uninstall any addon, as I want to keep my forum clean and speedy. Do not want to leave things behind which can cause issues in the end of the day.

No, the files will stay there, you have to remove them manually.

If the add-on is from a reputable developer and the files do not include any vulnerabilities, then it should be fine to leave them on the server.

Personally, I always delete files from add-ons, etc. I no longer use.
