XF 1.4 vbulletin migrate - attachments in database or folder

If I migrate a forum from vbulletin (3) do I need to first move the attachments which are currently in the database, into a folder?

Thanks.

XenForo only stores avatars and attachments in the file system.

Wherever they currently are in your VB installation, they will remain after the import.

It would have been nice if XenForo added the option during migrations to insert as full images instead of thumbnails.

That's one of the few things I'm constantly fixing as I see them, along with the double spaces above bullet lists and converting those to single line spacing between the lists and regular text.

Related FYI while you're thinking about it.

@Brogan, Just to clarify, if I import attachments (stored in File system) from vb3, will all the attachments be moved/copied into a different folder in XF, so that I can then delete the vb attachments folder and it's contents?
