XF 1.1 varible for node description

Howdy what would be the variable for node description, so i can say place it elsewhere in a template?

So viewing node example it dynamically shows the description of that node? (i have some fancy html/css plans for a site of mine)

But it depends exactly where in the template you want to put it.

I was hoping to kinda have a speech bubble type description (for my rp site)

and use it for meta description

do you think the latter would be possible?

however i am not sure exactly how to get where to put it?

and how to have it

aka if index show (global board description)

if viewing a node

I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding you (if so, entirely my fault, I've had a long day and not been sleeping much!) but the meta description for each forum is already the standard forum description. If you take a look at the source for the Suggestion forum for example, you'll see:

<meta name="description" content="If you would like to suggest a feature that can stand alone or is an entire add-on itself, please post it here. Small adjustments can be posted here." />

And if you hover over that forum description you'll see:

 

[Nudaii]

Oh so it is, my fault entirely XD thats what happens when you work on a board thats disabled descriptions
