Users unable to edit own posts

After upgrading my vB 3.8 forum til XenForo, many users are complaining they can't edit their own posts anymore. I have checked the permissions for their usergroup, and it seems ok. Are there any "rebuild permissions" function or something else I have overlooked?

Are they only in one user group, or are they members of more than one user group?

If more than one, make sure Never is not set for any of the permissions.

Presumably the edit post permission is set for the registered user group and there is no time limit?
