Duplicate Users Secondary Group Batch Removal not working

2.2.12

Steps to reproduce:

• Admin Panel --> Users --> Search for Users
• Select a secondary group
• Perform Search
• Click "Show all matches"
• (All Users are automatically selected) Click on "Batch Update" button
• In the Remove Secondary Group dropdown, select a secondary group to remove (in my case, the same group I searched for)
• Click on "Update Users" button

Expected outcome: Batch is processedl; "The batch update was completed successfully." message is shown; All Users are removed from the secondary group; searching again for the same groups returns 0 results

Actual outcome: Batch is processedl; "The batch update was completed successfully." message is shown; No Users are removed from the secondary group; searching again for the same groups returns the same results
