XF 1.5 User Names and Titles

I have a question regarding User Name styling and user titles

See at my forum the rank ladder uses Custom User Titles with User group Promotions.

I see in XF username and user title are both linked to Display Priority and whichever group has higher DP overwrites less one.
Here is the problem

I have currency system and simply want to sell colored user names or user sparkles.

Now if I make a simple new group and do the setting for username in it, And add user to it - It does not affect it because user title has higher DP. And if I make this one higher DP, I lose the user title.

My question is any way I can keep user titles in Rank Group but also make user have user name styling by adding him to another group simply?

Based on:

If a user is in multiple user groups, their user title and user name CSS will come from the group with the highest display styling priority.

It seems no you can't. So it would likely need an add-on.
