XF 2.2 User has to reset password every time he visits

Any thoughts on how to fix this? I've had him clear his cookies for the site and try different browsers. No luck.

He did register another username, and that one works fine.

Do you have any password related add-ons installed? I think OzzModz's has a feature if your password is in the Pwned list it can be used for force you to reset your password. If you do have that add-on installed and that function enabled, try turning it off.

This may have started when I changed his username. I'm wondering if it could be a database problem.

Shot in the dark... go to yoursite.xxx/install and do a rebuild master data.
Then after that, go to the Tools -> Rebuild Caches and rebuild any caches related to users.
Before doing either though I would make your board inactive via the ACP.

depends on your DB size... but normally no more than a few minutes on any system I've done it on.
