user groups promotions not working

i have a promotion set to move the members to usergroup "active members" when they get 50 posts and were registered for at least 1 month. But only some members are getting promoted, and sometimes they lose the promotion the next day.

Promotion settings:
- Add the member to usergroup "active member"

- User is NOT a member of any of the selected user groups: "Active member"
- User has posted at least X messages: 50
- User has been registered for at least X days: 30

I tried rebuilding promotion cache, but only some members are getting promoted. The promotion was created 5 days ago and i still have many members who aren't getting promoted. Right now i received a complaint from a member with over 3000 posts who registered years ago and he's not getting promoted to the correct usergroup

You need to run the Rebuild User Group Promotions task in the Tools menu to upgrade all members, otherwise it will only apply to recently active members.

If members are being demoted then they are no longer meeting the criteria, or you have conflicting criteria (in multiple upgrades).

Remove this. When a member is promoted to the Active Member user group, they immediately no longer meet this criteria and are demoted.

Looks like this fixed the issue ! I had already tried rebuilding user groups promotions.
