XF 1.4 User cannot confirm new email address

    A member has changed their email address. They got the confirmation email, but when they click on the link it doesn't go to the confirm new email page, it just goes to the login page where they get the message

    Your account is currently awaiting confirmation. Confirmation was sent to xxx@yyy.com

    Can anyone please help?

    (NB: I realise I could validate manually in ACP, but I'd like to know why this is happening)

    I don't know, they say they just clicked on the link in the email they get when clicking on resend confirmation email. I will ask him to forward me the email.
