XF 2.1 Use Spam Checkers for Contact Us

We are getting quite a bit of spam through our XF 2.1 contact us forms lately.

It would be nice if the existing systems (user/content checker) could be extended to also process data submitted through contact us.

We do already (relatively recent change, I think XF 2.1.0 though).

We only do content checking though. We wouldn't want to do user checking as it may prevent legitimate users (particularly rejected or banned users) from getting in touch.

Setting spam phrases will be particularly useful.

How many are you getting a day? Is your contact us form the default XF one, or a custom one?

If it is the default one, would you like to test an addon that might just solve the bots that are targeting the form?
