XF 2.1 Uploading the importer files

I'm confused about uploading the importer files.

addons has a XF folder but not an XFI folder so I uploaded the whole thing under addons. It looks like this:



I'm guessing it's wrong because it doesn't work but can someone please clarify?

Just upload the src folder from the importer to the same directory on the server where the existing src folder is.

The contents will merge.

I've tried it 3 different ways and either my Filezilla isn't merging or this is the way it's meant to look (see above screen shot)? Either way it's not working. Can you show me how the folder structure should look please?

This looks correct:

src/addons/XFI/Import

That's how mine is.

Just upload everything in folder upload to the root of your XF installation.

Same error in my brand new installation.
Within admin panel I find anything about import.

Have you actually installed the add-on after uploading the files?

No, my fault... I find the add-on to install in "add-on" tab.
I thought it will appear automatically.
XF system is really well engineered.
