XF 2.0 Upgrading Xenforo media gallery from XMG1 to XMG2

When upgrading the media gallery from XMG1 to XMG2- do you uninstall XMG1 first or just upgrade it as you would XF1 to XF2.

You would upgrade as normal, if you uninstalled it you would loose all the information.
