Thanks one more timeI'm running MariaDB 10.0.12 and nginx 1.7.2 myself (with php-fpm).
MariaDB 10 is an improvement, but you might not see any real improvement on a smaller site.
I'll wait few month. My forum is under high load every summer, so i cant update everything without affecting users.Personally, I would recommend upgrading to PHP 5.6. It's tested working on XenForo 1.3.3 and over 75 add-ons without issue.

It's also faster than 5.5. Although it is currently beta 4, so if you're waiting for it to be stable, I'd at least keep it in mind for the near future.
Understood.Ill wait few month. My forum is under high load every summer, so i cant update everything without affecting users.
After that mb illl give a chance for Centmin Mod on fresh installed OS + ill buy separate VPS for DB. Digitalocean enabled Private Network. I think this is awesome option for what i want.Understood.
In your case then and to best fit your need, upgrading to 5.5 (as you planned) would be your best option. It is faster than 5.4 and there are some good improvements that would benefit you in the hear and now.
You can't go wrong with Centminmod. It's mine and a few people on here's setup of choice. @eva2000 is also on here....After that mb illl give a chance for Centmin Mod on fresh installed OS + ill buy separate VPS for DB. I wish i could find some unixbench tests with new 1 GB plan vs Digitalocean one. Serverbear has only old benchmarks. If your site truly has high demand and you good hardware
www.linode.com
Prices are about the same as Digital Ocean. I also speed tested to compare the two (linode) was faster. The developer of Centminmod uses them too
I've only got the old benchmarks as well. Haven't done the new Linode plans yet.I'm getting SSL-error when i'm trying to get access to https://community.centminmod.com Only proxy helps me.
+ there is still 07beta21 in github. Want to wait some stable version and then join to you guys.
I wish i could find some unixbench tests with new 1 GB plan vs Digitalocean once. Serverbear has only old benchmarks.
Please post some results if you make them.I've only got the old benchmarks as well. Haven't done the new Linode plans yet.
+1 on this idea. Please post some results if you make them.
I'll not be doing Vultr, as they require you to pre-fund the account, where Linode and DO are all pay as you use for me.+1 on this idea.
I know you randomly like to test providers, so if you happen to also include www.vultr.com which is a direct competitor of DigitalOcean, that would be a good way to compare @MattW
Fair enough.I'll not be doing Vultr, as they require you to pre-fund the account, where Linode and DO are all pay as you use for me.
Fixed that error, had to allow a few more SSL ciphers server side - seems your browsers didn't support the ones I configuredI'm getting SSL-error when i'm trying to get access to https://community.centminmod.com Only proxy helps me.
