XF 1.5 Upgrade Steps...

Hi all,

Just wanted to clarify upgrade steps from 1.5.17 to 2.0.2... (Am looking to do a test migration following the steps listed here : https://xenforo.com/community/threads/how-to-duplicate-a-live-site-to-use-as-a-test-site.67118/ )..

All the old Add-ons (the XF V1 ones) - what do they need doing to and when? Do they need to all be disabled before migration? Do i need to do anything specific to them before migration?? I presume if they are activated on V2.02 then they would be rejected... or just wouldnt exist in the "list"...??

Also - if an add-on exists in it's V1 form, and there is a new version for v2.02, can it be upgraded from the original version and then activated within V2, or is it a new install (just worried about loosing database info on the migration).

Finally, any advice and tips appreciated

This is what happens when you upgrade:



All legacy addons are disabled but the data remains intact. If for example, @Bob released a v2 of Sportsbook, the data would still be there and the addon should handle the upgrade from the old version.
