XF 1.5 Upgrade problem

Upgrade 1.5 Custion! we are upgrading to xenforo 1.5 and we have a step to remove database content. How can we upgrade to 1.5 whith not remove database content?

Can we create a new datase and when upgrade we can update the old database to new database with phpmyadmin?

Did you upload the full .zip rather than the upgrade .zip?

Ensure the correct details are in /library/config.php and replace the internal_data/install-lock.php file.
