XF 2.0 Upgrade php/Apache, all images missing?

We recently had our host upgrade php and Apache, and now all of our images are missing, including avatars and all of the standard XF graphics.



I'm not sure why a php upgrade would have done this. Nothing was changed in the database itself so it seems like XF just can't find them.

Any ideas?

I rebuilt master data which seems to have fixed the issue. So I guess now my question is, is that a reliable or permanent solution when this happens? Or should I be doing something else?

edit: ah it looks like it was a permissions issue. N/m.

You might had clicked on upgrade or your install directory is not protected and accessible to all at yoursite.com/install

In most of the cases upgrade might have initiated which had caused that.

Rebuilding master data is like permanent solution only


I do not understand technicality of it but i written what i felt correct to best of my knowledge.

Install directory should not be accessible to public even though it is protected by admin login.
