XF 1.1 Upgrade path from XF 1.1.3

There's no mention of XF 1.1.3 on https://xenforo.com/help/importing/ - XF 1.2+ is the earliest listed. So there's no complete import for 1.1.3?

Does anyone have any advice on what is practical for an upgrade from 1.1.3?

Importing and upgrading are separate things.

Are you trying to upgrade the existing forum to a later version, or import into/from it?

After some changes to my server, the Forum is now mis-behaving badly. Rather than try to fix such an old version, I'm happy to upgrade to a modern XF version. But I would want to import all the users and posts from the old version. So, yes, I guess I should have asked about Importing.

Just my fear of the unknown, and the Importing page *not* listing XF 1.1.3.

So, to be clear, if I purchase the latest stable XF version, I ought to be able to import all users, posts etc?

Once again, to clarify, upgrading is not importing.

Importing is for merging another site into an existing site.
The members, threads, posts, etc. from both sites will then be in one installation.

Upgrading will upgrade your existing installation to the latest version.
All standard content such as members, threads, posts, etc. will be preserved.

If you are planning to upgrade to XF2, all existing third party add-ons and styles will no longer work.
So if there's anything you rely on for your site, check with the authors as to whether there is an XF2 version available.
