When i just updated from 2.2 beta v4 to 2.2 beta v5 and after i went to the install link and logged in i got a cookie message. I have to accept the cookie in order to continue. Of course you cant see the cookie popup anywhere because i already did this in previous versions. Now in my admin panel i already had the board url set to https.... and i had the "Enable board URL canonicalization" on. So i don't know why it routed me to a http.... instead of https...
Of course that was the problem and no way to fix it, other then just go to the manual typed in https full install link. I fixed it like that. Don't know why this happened but i thought i let you know. Others might also have this problem.

The message was:

Cookies are required to use this site. You must accept them to continue using the site.

Solution
The cookies issue is likely a side effect of using http rather than https and the web server configuration blocking cookies not set using https.

We very deliberately do not apply URL canonicalisation on the install or admin pages (as it could result in an inaccessible install system) so you really just need to make sure you're accessing the correct web address for your site, updating any links you have saved, any bookmarks etc as it's likely your server configuration will only work over https.

Solution
Link/bookmark updated to https.

This was literally the first time i have seen the problem on my server. I installed full 2.1 and then went up all the beta versions for 2.2. Never seen the problem and always had the same settings. Just letting you know because i found this issue. Its fixed for me do.

Thanks for the lighting speed fast reply!
