XF 2.1 Unfurled data questions

So (new user so please be gentle - heh). Members are posting articles that unfurl. I have some questions:

- Is the content in unfurled posts searchable?

- Does the unfurled content ever go away?

- If the answer to the above is YES, is there a way to keep the content permanently?

- Am I right to assume that unfurled content does NOT get posted to the database? Rather, it's pulled from the source website?

- Is the content in unfurled posts searchable?

Not currently.

- Does the unfurled content ever go away?

Typically not. We attempt to keep the unfurled content current and up to date so we refresh it periodically when a page containing the unfurl is accessed. If the URL becomes unavailable for any reason then the unfurl will turn into a standard link.

- If the answer to the above is YES, is there a way to keep the content permanently?

Essentially it's there for as long as the content actually exists on the internet.

- Am I right to assume that unfurled content does NOT get posted to the database? Rather, it's pulled from the source website?

It's pulled from the source website and then stored in the database and then periodically refreshed.
