XF 1.1 Unable To Install Add-ons

Everytime I try to install an add-on, I get this error: "Please enter a valid file name. The requested file could not be read."

I'm positive it's the proper file. Example: "addon-TMS.xml" for the TMS add-on. I even tried uploading the file to the server, and installing it that way.

Any idea on what could be causing the issue?

Could be a problem with your server config that is affecting file uploads. Do other uploads work such as post attachments, style uploads, and avatars?

Uploading avatar throws errors, so I believe you are right. I have contacted my host. I will reply at a later time confirming if that was the actual problem or not.

Just adding my 2 cents: On your FTP program or cPanel, check if the folders that are used for upload stuff have write permission for everyone.
