When including an external image in img tags in a post, I am unable to delete the images using the RTE on a Galaxy S3 using Chrome or Firefox. Also confirmed on an S4 using same browsers. Works as expected in the default browser.

Just posted a test image here to try and still getting the same results

Place cursor after the image and try and backspace/delete to remove the image. In chrome and firefox it jumps to the text above without deleting the image. In the default browser it deletes the image as expected.

Unfortunately this is an Android bug - there isn't anything we can really do to prevent it. You can usually highlight the image to delete it though.

You can highlight the image but backspace doesn't remove it. Type a letter or character and the image does get replaced.

This is probably a suggestion, but when you click on the image in a post the insert image url pop up displays. Removing the URL does not remove the image.

Is it possible to make it so that removing the URL in the "insert image url" popup removes the image, or add a "remove image" button in that pop up to delete that image from the post.
