Every time i try to activate SEO friendly links my forum break and gives me a 404 on every link.
I have a .htaccess i got of a forum post of here and i wasn't able to find my zip and because there wasn't a htaccess.txt in my root.
The forum is under a subdomain and adds /forum/ in the link which breaks the forum.
Im currently running XenForo 1.4.4.
If needed i can also give a link to the forum.

Instructions for implementing FURLs are here: https://xenforo.com/help/friendly-urls/

Note that the server must support them. Contact your host if you are unsure how to check for that.

You can create a default .htaccess file using the contents here: https://xenforo.com/community/htaccess.txt

Code:
# Mod_security can interfere with uploading of content such as attachments. If you
# cannot attach files, remove the "#" from the lines below.
#<IfModule mod_security.c>
# SecFilterEngine Off
# SecFilterScanPOST Off
#</IfModule>

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On

    # If you are having problems with the rewrite rules, remove the "#" from the
    # line that begins "RewriteBase" below. You will also have to change the path
    # of the rewrite to reflect the path to your XenForo installation.
    #RewriteBase /xenforo

    # This line may be needed to enable WebDAV editing with PHP as a CGI.
    #RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]

    RewriteRule ^.*$ index.php [NC,L]

I have tryed it and it still ends up in a 404
Mod_rewrite is enabled by default in LAMP and i have confirmed it working as im the server manger.
The forum now goes to /forum instead of just /
how do i set it up so it wont generate a 404?
The forum im talking about is http://community.blackoutmedia.net

I am still struggling with this.
I have AllowOverride to All
and the .htaccess is also in the root
and mod rewrite is also enabled

Right after i posted this it fixed it self
