You do have them set correctly, what navigation link are you editing exactly?

Navigate to Appearance -> Style Properties - Welcome Section -> Text -> Edit the following fields: Welcome section title, Welcome section text, and Welcome section button text

@ThemeHouse is it possible to set UI.X Classic as light style and UI.X Classic Dark as child/dark style? So i just made changes in UI.X Classic and the UI.X Classic Dark inherits this as a child.

You would need to do
- UI.X classic
-- Your custom style
--- UI.X dark
---- Your custom dark style

Changes in the second level will carry down the tree, unless it's specific dark mode stuff.
