Top Poster of The Last Hour - Displays Top Poster of The Last Hour in Sidebar

Displays the Top Poster of The Last Hour in the forum sidebar, along with a link to their homepage. It's a great way of encouraging members to post more often as the top poster of the last hour gets a link to their website (free advertising) on the forum index, as well as a shout-out for being the top poster. If there is no top poster in the last hour, the Top Poster of The Last Hour sidebar block gracefully disappears. It's better that way. Who wants to see "No top poster"? That just makes...

In the meantime, edit the twistedpromotion_topuser template.

That could be possible in future updates I suppose.

Not sure about widget framework. Haven't tried it to be honest.
I'm trying to make it work in XenPorta sidebar, but I'm not sure how to make a XenPorta block.
Anyone know?

I don't use xenportal now but I did get this working on the framework using the above method.
I like the 1 hour time limit.

One suggest I would like is to be able to remove groups from being included.
I wouldn't want staff in there or the brand new users to protect against spam.

That shouldn't be too difficult. I'll look into it for future updates.

It only shows if there is actually a top poster in the last hour.
If nobody has posted in the last hour, the sidebar disappears.

I'll look into it. This is only the first release.
There's only one template edit required though.
I don't see why that's so hard, but never mind.

I agree with this one, and would be AWESOME if in the backend we can see WHO was the top posterS for the month so we can make announcements each month stating so.

Is this possible?

Top Poster in Last X number of hours was introduced in the latest update.
You can now choose how many hours: anything from 1 to 8760 (365 days).
I'm not sure about the back end record of the top posters of the month.
That would involve saving records and I'm not sure if I could make that.

Ah ok no worries, so just for the record, what about instead of 'hours' weeks/months? So we don't have to use a calculator and see how many there is every different month ?

Ah and is it only 1 poster or can we choose more than 1?

I was thinking about that, but the addon was originally "Top Poster of the Last Hour".
To make hours into weeks would involve a separate variable, so it's quite complex.
I will look into it though, as I was thinking that myself.

Where can I edit the title of the block, it did say top poster last hour or something like that, it now say top "usergroup of the user" eg. top contributor.. I'd like it just to say top user last hour or something along those lines again
