looks like it may be yet more more issue with TOR browser and xenforo.

Firefox with fingerprint resistance enabled (which Tor Browser is based on) will report your JavaScript time zone as UTC. There's not much we can do about that. In general where Tor Browser has to decide between privacy and correctness, it will choose privacy at the risk of breaking website functionality.
