This is fixed in the next version, thanks! Future XF1 to XF2 upgrades won't experience this.A small issue:
When upgrading from XF1 to XF2.3 (Tickets version 2.8.1) , then Category 1 is renamed to Example category and category options, prefixes and field settings are lost.

There's an inbound email processor that can handle creating / updating tickets via incoming emaiIs to a configured address. There isn't built-in functionality for notes. While it's not the same thing you're asking, there is support for this Member Notes add-on.Super interested in giving this add-on a go, but can someone confirm if it supports ticket creation/interaction via email?
In addition, does it allow notes to be left between the people that are working on tickets (i.e. non-submitter visible)
