@AddonsLab with the Thread Thumbnail addon, is there supposed to be a way to select an image already posted within a thread to set it as the thread thumbnail?

Exactly, in the list of threads you can see a pencil icon (with appropriate permissions) to set the thread thumbnail manually:

I see, it does not support other posts in the thread, just the first post. It is basically an attachment manager for the first post, allowing your to upload a new image and set that image as a thumbnail, instead of opening the thread.

Use only the posts by thread starter is enabled). However, this is for automatic thumbnail detection only, manually setting the thumbnail is possible only in first post.We will consider an enhancemnet to allow manual selection of any auto-detected thumbnail, both for attachments, images or media.

We do not have a CLI command for that, but the jobs can be run via CLI using XF build in commands.
- Start the rebuild process
- Close the browser
