I think the div background colour can be changed, it merges with things, and I keep seeming to miss it :/ Or maybe it's just me?

Generally independent from the suggestion here, but the status now shows up at the bottom of the page now too. It's very easy to miss a thread getting closed if you've already read some of it and the status is only at the top.

I still think it can be made a different colour. I've missed it about 50%+ today.
