RM 1.2 Thread author not changed after reassign resource

Hi,

Today I Reassigned lots of resources (from USER1 to USER2)
Although it worked, but the auto threads created for each resource are still for USER1.
But when we changed the resource owner, we wanted to change its auto thread author to USER2 too.
Is there any way to do that?
Any opinion will be appreciated.

This is really as expected. The posts represent a point-in-time and are unchanged. It would require an add-on/custom development to change post authors.

AndyB has an add-on to change posts author, but reassigning resources is in core and when I change the owner of a resource, normally I want to change (at least) the first post of the auto thread of the resource too. (Number of resources that are reassigned is a lot and changing all of their thread's author one by one take a long time)
