XF 2.0 The uploaded image is too big.

My forum users are trying to upload images from their phone and getting this error:

Oops! We ran into some problems.
The uploaded image is too big.

XF Versions: 2.0.2

My Maximum attachment file size in xenforo is 32768kb

My Maximum attachment image dimensions in xenforo are: 1920 x 1080

My server php max upload is:
upload_max_filesizeMaximum allowed size for uploaded files.128M

I'm testing this with an 11mb image which fails to upload. HOWEVER If I remove the Maximum attachment image dimensions the file will upload but not display in the post (shows as a link).

I thought the Maximum attachment image dimensions were what xenforo resized the upload to and not the original file requirements. I don't mind removing the dimensions if it means uploads will work for users but why doesn't it preview in the post?

Add this to you config.php file.

$config['maxImageResizePixelCount'] = 100000000;

Hey Andy, where do I find this? This suggests its in library>config.php but I don't see it in the directory :S

Tried that, broke my forum. :O
(Restoring the old config file fixed it, but of course that means I still have the issue.)
Now what?

I'd be happy to, if I knew what those where and where to find them. Can you point me to the right place to learn where to find that?

OK, the forum breaking error turned out to be a missing semi colon (d'oh!) But I'm still having problems with large images. I increased it to 3000000 and now they upload but then they have a line through them and don't show up.

Either your server error log if there, or from the browser console when trying to post the images.
