I can confirm this issue... and its directly related to a specific Chrome EXTENSION!

If you have this Chrome Extension installed, you will have this issue. Seeing as how this is the most popular Chrome Extension on Earth... it should be looked at. It actually happens with other AdBlock extensions for Chrome as well...

Confirmed - the issue shows up when adblock is enabled in Safari 5.1.. Much of the internet is unusable without adblock unfortunately...

Safari Web content is consuming 50% of the cpu cycles while a yahoo tab is open and adblock is disabled... Draining the battery quite quickly and significantly heating up the Macbook pro...

the ability to scroll through pictures using the wheel button doesnt get along with the magic mouse, scrolls too fast
