the different DNA in Xenforo shows

I was doing a fair bit of tweaking my VB4 forum today.
After using XenForo for so long now, you don't half notice how much bloat there is in the VB4 admin screens !!

PS: I'm not slagging off VB4 here, I'm just saying they are worlds apart, as XF is so much simpler to admin.

I noticed the same thing...I went to go and help out a friend and was like OMG! How do u get around this thing...

One person's bloat is another person's feature.
I'm sure all of those features where suggested one time or another.
And let's face it. XF is not exactly feature rich right now.

I would beg to differ but that is a personal opinion, bloat can be handled it just wasn't done correctly with vB4

Don't get me wrong. I have 4 licenses already.
I need thread prefixes. Notices. Promotions. Additional profile fields.
That is just off the top of my head.

What's bloatware to some, it's gravy to others.
I used many features in 3.8.5 and at least 75% of vB4.0, but that's about it.
I do wish there were options to hide certain items though
And yes, I strongly do wish that they had more time to incorperate some "key" (aka popular) features into the V1.0.0 GOLD release, but since they are limited on staff, we can wait right?
