XF 1.5 The Case of the Disappearing Watched Threads

One of my users says she is no longer receiving notifications for her watched threads, though she has not changed her preferences. She also has no watched threads on her watched thread list. I have no idea why this is happening or how to remedy it Can anyone help?

To confirm, is she looking at the full watched threads list or the unread watched threads list? (In XF1, it will show you unread threads first, then you can click "show all watched threads".)

If there really isn't anything when she views all watched threads, then I can only guess that a bulk action has been taken against them -- there's an option to stop watching all of them.
