TAZ Migrating to XF

I thought adminextra was going to be separate? Did they change their minds again?

The footer of adminextra says:

The same exact members(More or less) were on both forums, posting the same exact topics and having the same conversation became redundant and I believe Howard said it was difficult to give adequate time and attention to both

I do hope they really do diversify the site a bit beyond the standard XF look that the other admin forums maintain, but from the teases I've seen I do think they'll be adding a bit of unique flair to it.

I'm assuming only 3-4 of the entire staff are active on XenForo, 3 of the above being administrators.

OK, we're doing some cleaning up (users, posts, permissions, etc) – just to let you all aware, we've moved from /forums/ to / (rootdir), threads are being redirected.

It's about time they've migrated and well overdue. The content, moderation and community there can be superb, it's the best admin community but was always let down IMHO by a clunky, outdated and ugly platform which most people left behind five years ago. A forum for forum admins should always be cutting edge or at least represent the current generation of software. Anyway, looking forward to seeing it back up and running.

Seen something scarily similar to those somewhere before . . . Oh yeah, I remember now.

It's good that they've converted the existing theme, but personally I think it's way too bright. Would have been better going with a slightly off-white version, so as not to blind people. Other than that.. don't give a crap

@Null -- Are permissions still being worked on? As a guest I can view the site and see new posts being made. When I log into my "KW802" account I get a "No permissions" error on everything; can't even view the forum index.
