Hey. Not sure if this is an issue with the shoutbox or not, but whenever my boyfriend uses the shoutbox on my forums it lags Opera entirely. Doesn't do it when I use Google Chrome though.

It COULD be his computer too, but it'd do the same for Chrome.

The few sites I've been on with Taiga install haven't lagged for me in Opera, so its probably an issue with the computer being older.

I've just noticed the popup view no longer works properly with the latest version.

All of the chat content is not visible until you actually enter a chat message and then it appears.

Strangely though it appears when logged out.

i have the same problem on my site, testet with FF4.01 and iE 9.0.8x is there any solution? im asking the developer and brogang because it works on cta, there i can use the popup chat.

taiga chat is complete default, no template or css editing.

You can do that just dont call the shoutbox in the forum list template.

Nah. 2 instances of the same mod hitting your server at the same time, is...oooooo

I don't really want a room chat mod tho. I like the chat page of Taiga chat, its simplicity most of all.
I may have to forego the sidebar shoutbox, I guess.

Agree on the simplicity. No need for users to learn IRC hieroglyphics.
The sidebar can be a little detracting from "content proper". On the flip, it's a crowd puller. So YMMV.

I have a problem with TaigaChat and XenHabla, both seems to point to the /chat url. Anyone had this problem and solved it?

EDIT: found how to fix, removed this line in TaigaChat xml file before install:
